Gifts given to Villagers

Funds allowing, IVCM aims to distribute gifts including scriptures to those individuals who cannot afford copies of their own and have made a confession of faith, this is especially important for new believers. Scriptures are distributed during church services and at special meetings such as youth events when NTs are given out to new converts.

We cherish the memory in the early years of IVCM's ministry, during a mission trip, a 60 year old lady who had been a believer for many years came forward to tearfully receive one of her very own. Something we can take for granted in the west. It was a memorable occasion and indeed a privilege. Tamil Scriptures are available to purchase in India and are relatively inexpensive (see the donate page for costs).
